Most kids in America are now finishing up their school year, but at Wings of Faith this is the time we are preparing to assist thousands of children on Native American Reservations for the start of their school year just a few short months away.
God has generously used this ministry for many years to provide back packs and school supplies as a means to open the door for the Gospel in remote and impoverished locations in the American Southwest.
This year, two generous donors have provided a matching grant of $7,500 to kick start our Back Pack and School Supply Drive! We are now purchasing the necessary items and will deliver them in early August.
Please help us today to achieve our goal of raising $20,000 to purchase back packs, school supplies and pay for the fuel to fly to remote Native American Reservations – or drive when poor weather conditions prevent our pilots from getting airborne.
Your financial contribution today will help buy back packs, pencils, paper, notebooks, erasers, scissors, glue, crayons and other essentials for kids in struggling families who desperately need a basic education. These rudimentary supplies give kids a boost of confidence as they start school, despite the hardships their families may face.
Some of the Reservations where we help serve in Jesus’ name include the Navajo, Hopi, Apache, Paiute, Shoshone and Colorado River Tribes among others.
