On November 2nd, a team from Soles4Souls and Wings of Faith met up at Theodore E. Roosevelt School in Fort Apache, AZ. About 140 students are enrolled at TER School and we were able to provide new sweatshirts, from Obey Clothing, new shoes from Soles4Souls, socks from both groups, some snacks, goodies. Hygiene items from Global Grins and school supplies from Wings of Faith. Each student had their foot measured carefully by the S4S team and fitted personally for sweatshirts too.
The next day we had a similar event for the Whiteriver community, serving them from the Hope Center in Whiteriver, AZ. We served about sixty children at this event and provided similar blessings.
On Sunday, Nov. 4, we provided over 100 children and teens/young adults with more of the same plus new jackets and coats at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day.
