Received a few pallets worth of donations yesterday from a new donor, called Operation Blankets of Love. They, like many non profits, receive donations that both fit and don't fit their main mission. Their main emphasis is feeding and caring for animals. They are located near the 405/5/118 junction.
They received blankets, new, sealed in boxes that are like polyester throws that are good for many purposes and in a couple of sizes. They gave us several very large boxes and some smaller boxes of these. Also, we received hundreds of personal hygiene kits donated to them by Delta Airlines, picture the guests in first class that need to freshen up after a transoceanic flight,,, I know, me neither, but use your imagination.
Also, we got about 500 lbs of dog food and medicine for dogs. We did distribute about 150 lbs of dog food earlier this month in Holbrook, it is a requested item.
Some of this will go out as early as tomorrow to Minden, NV, via C206 and Jason/Justin delivery team. We need photos of these items as well as the snack bars we got from Feed the Children last month and other hygiene kits which come through Ecolab via WER/NAER.
