Annie Helping Grandpa y Grandson

On Sunday Annie and her husband Mario  went to Dollar General to get some ice cream after church.  This grandpa asked for a couple of dollars to get some food for his wife and grandsons.  He had injured himself on the job and was off for a period of time, as per doctor’s orders.  When he returned to the job, they fired him.  He was denied food stamps.  He is a retired veteran.  Since he and his wife take care of the grandsons, they have fallen to dire straits.  Annie told him that we don’t give money, but our church has a food pantry and they went there to shop for some needed supplies.  Then Annie and Mario took them home with their groceries as they lived a number of blocks away, were afoot. and would have had to carry everything.  The family was grateful, received a much needed handout and the testimony of God’s love for them.  Thank you WOF.
